PF::Acceleration

PF::Acceleration

The acceleration force is used with particles only (linked in the Particle Group::Forces list).

It allows to emit an acceleration per particle and is more direct than the grid external force as well because particles can be anywhere in space while a grid only stores data at uniform locations in space.

It is the prefered way in liquid simulations to introduce gravity because as you may remember from physics gravity is an acceleration constant.
